North Street Music has been engaged to select musicians to join the remarkable Glenn Miller Orchestra on stage at Perth Concert Hall for three performances.
The TICKETEK website promises a concert spectacular featuring music from the library of The Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band, performed by the Orchestra and will include all the favourites: Moonlight Serenade, In The Mood, Tuxedo Junction, Chattanooga Choo Choo and many more.
The show also includes special guest stars: The Moonlight Serenade Singers and dancing from The Broadway Swing Dancers.
The Glenn Miller Orchestra, featuring America’s finest musicians joined by Perth’s best, will bring back all those sentimental memories of the 1940’s – the great ‘Big Band’ hits, the original Glenn Miller arrangements, the music of The Andrews Sisters, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and the romantic World War II melodies made famous by Vera Lynn and Dina Shore.
