About Bourby Webster:

Bourby Webster is a rare combination of business expertise and musical talent. She commenced life as a musician graduating from Oxford University in Music and the Royal College of Music, London, in advanced performance on viola. In 2000 after four years of juggling the corporate world and music – she was a founding member of the UK-based electric string quartet ‘bond’ signed to Universal Records – she moved to Australia where she pursued a career in business rising rapidly into management roles, specialising in business development and marketing. She completed an MBA (Master in Business Administration) in 2005 at the University of Western Australia for which she was awarded the Director’s Letter for academic achievement and also the Charles Harper Prize.

In 2008 she set up North Street Group, enabling her to continue her marketing and business development work as North Street Consulting, and also to explore her passion for music with North Street Music – a company dedicated to promoting concerts, managing artists, providing career advice to musicians and securing work for as many Western Australian musicians as possible.

In March 2014 her achievements were acknowledged when she was awarded one of WA Business News’ prestigious 40 Under 40 awards for young entrepreneurs.

Bourby seamlessly combines her two worlds of business and music, working with people and companies to achieve their goals.
